심청사달 (心淸事達)

My objective was clear, I need to make it to the remote east coast of Korea to witness the first sunrise on New Year day. On exit from Incheon Airport, I boarded the bus bound for Gangneung. The journey was long and the temperature freezing. After more than ten hours of travelling, including flight time, I arrived at the resort village, Jeongdongjin. Before the sun rose on New Year day, I have already realised my wish. The journey is more important than the destination, so it did not matter that sunrise om the actual day was not observaable due to overcast sky.
